Did you know that visiting a college is termed “demonstrated interest” by schools and is one of the admissions criteria used to determine an applicant’s acceptance? In fact, “demonstrated interest” is one piece of the admissions puzzle that can give a student up to a 40% chance of being admitted over other applicants.

Join us as we head tour the New England region to visit some of the top schools in the area, including:

•      Quinnipiac University

•      Williams College

•      Norwich University

•      University of Vermont

•      University of Massachusetts – Amherst

•      University of New Hampshire

•      University of Maine

•      Bowdoin College

•      University of Connecticut

New England is home to some of the top universities in the world. Academic success is achieved through the partnership between students and professors. With many of the schools boasting stats such as full-time educators, above average post-graduation earning power and diverse student bodies; it isn’t any wonder that these are highly sought-after universities. To round out the experience, students have all of New England to discover on the weekends! Expect to explore the beautiful beaches of Massachusetts, visit gilded mansions in Rhode Island, hike your way through Vermont, tour historic seaports of Connecticut, continue your mountaintop exploration in New Hampshire and feast on lobster in Maine. Students will have it all with both educational and experiential memories to last a lifetime.

As we tour through the schools, there will be plenty of chances to experience what this region has to offer including Candlepin Bowling, a New England Tradition!

University Seekers is a college preparatory service led by a local college admissions expert. With their guidance they market your personal profile to your dream schools. They stay in touch with the admissions departments to ensure your application is highlighted, giving you a leg up on the competition.

A-1 Tours is not affiliated with any of the Colleges or Universities listed above.  Participating on this tour does not guarantee or imply admittance or preferential treatment during the admissions process.

A-1 Tours will make all efforts to operate each tour as originally described. A-1 Tours reserves the right, if need be, to cancel any and/or all components of the trip without prior notification. This includes, but is not limited to, tour timing, components, or full cancellation of the tour, if there are not enough paid participants. 

Code of Conduct

COVID-19 Vaccination: As required by schools on this tour, all paricipants MUST be fully vaccinated (CDC defines fully vaccinated as 2 weeks after final dose in primary vaccine series)  for Covid-19. All participants must show a valid COVID-19 Vaccine Card prior to boarding the bus at their chosen pickup location (either the actual card, or a picture of the actual card).  Should a passenger forget to bring or take a photo of their card, they may have someone send a picture of the card to them via text message, but will be unable to participate in any tour events until that picture has been recieved.  No refund will be given for any missed portions due to lack of COVID-19 Vaccine proof.

Face Masks: Facemasks are required to enter some establishments on this tour.   All participants should come prepared with enough 3-ply (required by schools) facemasks to last the entirety of the tour. A-1 Tours will have a small supply of masks in the event of an emergency or loss of mask by a student - but these masks should not be the sole masks you are utilizing.

Following Directions: A-1 Tours require every guest to abide by the preset schedule and follow all directions given by the Tour Leader or Chaperones.  Every day of the tour is jammed pack and we must stay on schedule to be able to visit all the Colleges and do all the activities we have planned.  Curfew must be abided by all students on the tour.  The Hotel floors we will be staying on will be monitored by a Security Guard to insure people remain in their rooms.

Respect: All participants must respect the Group Leader, Chaperones, fellow guests, the bus driver, the bus, Colleges/University Campus and Staff, restaurants, hotels and activity locations.  You are not only representing yourself and your High School at all locations but also A-1 Tours.  All guests are expected to be respectful to all the people we will meet on this tour.

Zero Tolerance for Bullying, Hate Speech and Physical/Sexual Assault or Harrassment: A-1 Tours has a Zero Tolerance policy on Bullying of any kind, including but not limited to physical, cyber and mental.  A-1 Tours has a Zero Tolerance policy on Hate speech, including but not limited to verbal and online.  A-1 Tours has a Zero Tolerance policy on Physical and Sexual assault or harrassment.  If you breech any of the Zero Tolerance Policies, you will be immediately removed from the tour without refund.  Any breech of the forementioned Zero Tolerance Policies may result in your child being handed over to local law enforcement.

Additional Items: Students are expected to behave and follow any policy and pricedure as if it were set forth in their school's code of cunduct

Photo Release: As a parent or guardian of this student, I hereby consent to the use of photographs/video taken during the course of the tour for publicity and/or promotional works (including publications, presentation or broadcast via newspaper, internet or other media sources). I do this with full knowledge and consent and waive all claims for compensation for use, or for damages.
