Early summer days lay the perfect ground for a day in NYC. Upon arrival in Manhttan, we head for Pier 86 and the Intrepid Museum. The Intrepid is an American military and maritime history msueum. Here you can experience the first space shuttle, a nuclear weapons-carrying submarine, a range of military aircrafts, a sply plane, and the world’s fastest commercial airliner. The Intrepid is an awesome place to spend a few hours and a great opportunity to take some memorable Father’s Day photos!

 

From here, we will head to Midtwon where guests will have some free time. This is the perfect opportunity to treat Dad to a nice Father’s Day lunch and to enjoy a cold beverage in the summer sun (not included in costing). A-1 Tours can assist with restaurant reservation if needed!

 

After dedicated free-time for you and Dad, we will re-group by the theatre before the show. We will be watching the new musical featured on Broadway, “Heart of Rock & Roll.” This show will definitely get you amped up!

 

This musical comedy is inspired by the timeless hits of Huey Lewis and The News. Step into an era when the airwaves sizzled and bands with platinum dreams rocked every dive bar. This is a raucous rom-com wrapped in pure musical joy. The Heart of Rock & Roll centers on a couple of thirty-somethings who know exactly what they want from life-until they find each other. It’s going to take The Power of Love- a little help from their friends- to show them the way. We hear hits such as “Working for a Living”, “Stuck with You”, and “If this is It”. This is a fun “feel great” musical perfect for special occasions.

 

Upon the conclusion of the show- our trained professional driver will meet guests near the theatre and we will travel back home. Guests will be dropped off at their selected drop-off points.
