The college admissions process is a tricky one to navigate. Give yourself the best opportunity to succeed by joining us on this fun-filled and educational two-day outing to Pennsylvania & West Virginia for visits to the campuses of the University of Pittsburg and West Virginia University.

Day 1:

We’ll depart in the morning for a scenic ride out to Penn State University.

Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy a casual lunch to get energized for the campus tour. The tour will be led by a student guide to give you a first-hand authentic rundown of what life on campus is like. The tour will include an overview, campus walk, and Q&A. We will also make a stop at the campus store to pick up some cool memorabilia at your own expense.

After the campus walk, we’ll pay a visit to the Penn State All-Sports Museum. Even if you’re not into playing sports, you will have just as much fun (possibly even more fun) spectating from the sidelines. Attending Penn State, you likely go to a few games over your tenure whether it’s football, basketball, hockey or any other sport is your choice! The museum tour will also allow us a sneak peek at Beaver Stadium home of Penn State Nittany Lions (pending availability)

 

In the early evening, we will enjoy a nice group dinner together in the downtown city center area.

 

Day 2:

We’ll head out early for Pittsburgh, PA - Known for its history of the steel industry, Pittsburgh is a fun and vibrant city located at the confluence of the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers which beautifully combine to form Ohio River.

Pittsburgh is perfect if you are into professional sports as it’s the home of three major franchises The Pirates, Steelers & Penguins. As we arrive in the city, we start with lunch followed by an afternoon visit to The University of Pittsburgh - a top-ranked public institution. We will get a nice overview information session and campus walk.

From here we head for Duquesne Incline, one of Pittsburgh's most popular attractions offering a panoramic view of Downtown Pittsburgh and a great opportunity to take some good pictures! Pending time, we may also take a walk downtown to take in some of the city sights before dinner and check in at the hotel.

 

Day 3:

After breakfast, we will board the coach and transfer to Morgantown, WV for a visit to West Virginia University – this public land-grant research university has its main campus in Morgantown, WV with other campuses throughout the state. We will enjoy an information session and campus walk as well as lunch.

 

After this, we set a course for Hershey’s Chocolate World and a sweet treat! This is Hershey’s first and largest visitor attraction. We will take a tour of the simulated chocolate factory and learn of the delicious transformation from cocoa beans to Hersey’s famous chocolate bar. We will then enjoy dinner in the area before checking in at the hotel.

 

Day 4:

We’ll depart in the morning for our last day which will be spent in Philadelphia.

 

Upon arrival we will tour Temple University followed by Drexel University. We’ll enjoy a lunch in between the stops followed by a walk along the Mural Mile showing off some of Philadelphia's most inspiring street art and giving us a chance to get some great pictures to finish off the tour with.

From here we board the coach for our drive back home.

Triple and quad rooms will have a maximum of 2 beds for 3 or 4 guests to share
