Born from a grand vision and an ambitious plan, the magnificent BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple  stands as a hidden gem in central New Jersey attracting thousands of visitors each year from across the globe.

This awe-inspiring campus is home to several architectural masterpieces, thoughtfully designed to offer a sanctuary of peace and spiritual reflection.

Visitors are greeted by a striking 49-foot sacred image of Bhagwan Swaminarayan as a young yogi, setting the tone for the journey ahead.

 

You will enjoy a guides tour of the campus  where you will learn the story of how it all started and how it all come together.  As you tour through the welcome center across the ground and into the temple you will be explore the meticulously carved details, majestic fountains and exquisite art work. The tour offers deep insight into the temple’s architecture, its purpose and see  several historic artifacts on display.

 

Completed in 2023, the temple was brought to life by the dedication of 12,500 volunteers. A-1 Tours offers you a unique opportunity to take part in this serene & spiritual outing that we fill you with energy & new impressions.

 

After the tour you will enjoy a fresh made vegetarian lunch in the cafeteria before spending some time exploring on your own and  perhaps take a peek in the giftshop.
