DC Military Parade – A US Army Commemoration

Join A-1 Tours for an unforgettable early summer adventure in Washington, DC as we head out to commemorate the US Army's 250th Anniversary. This will be celebrated with the spectacular Military Parade along with some amazing festivities.

 

 Departing from New Jersey on the morning of Saturday, June 14, you'll have the afternoon to explore DC before the parade kicks off.

The parade will feature over 6,000 soldiers, 150 military vehicles, and numerous impressive aircraft soaring through the sky.

 

You'll have prime viewing spots at the National Mall, with the Washington Monument Grounds as the central hub. Here you will enjoy easy access to food, water, and restrooms while soaking in the vibrant atmosphere.

 

The Parade is set to start at 6:00pm near the Pentagon and work its’ way across Memorial Bridge around Lincoln Memorial and the head east on Constitution Avenue. The grounds will host artist performances during the day and the event will wrap up around 10:00pm after a breathtaking firework display. Upon conclusion guests will head back to the coach and relax on a comfortable coach ride back.

 

Guests will be dropped off and picked up at a point as central as possible to the National Mall (exact details TBA) Guests should however be prepared to walk and stand for longer periods of time.
