Veteran’s Day Celebration

Saturday November 8, 2025

Join Us in Honoring Our Veterans with a Meaningful Day in Washington, D.C.

This year let’s come together to honor the incredible service and sacrifice of our Veterans with a special day trip to Washington, D.C. Departing early from New Jersey, we’ll make the most of our time in the nation’s capital.

Upon arrival, we enjoy a boxed lunch as we embark on a guided tour of the National Mall and its surrounding landmarks. Our private guide will lead us through powerful memorials.

We explored DC War Memorial, a solemn tribute to Washington, D.C. residents who gave their lives during World War I. Pershing Park, located beside the historic Intercontinental The Willard. This newly established World War I Memorial displaying elegant fountains and lush greenery offering a peaceful space for reflection. We walk through the iconic World War II Memorial, followed by visits to the Korean War Veterans Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and the Vietnam Women’s Memorial—each honoring the courage and sacrifice of those who served. We’ll also stop at the moving American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial, the Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial situated near the Department of Education, and the U.S. Navy Memorial with quick visit to US Naval Heritage Center. You will of course also see the towering Washington Monument, a symbol of the nation’s capital, and the Lincoln Memorial, currently undergoing renovation but still awe-inspiring in its presence.

Throughout the tour, we’ll explore the rich history and deeper meaning behind each site, reflecting on the ultimate sacrifice made by our nation’s heroes. We conclude the with a visit to  the National Museum of American History, home to an extraordinary collection of over 1.7 million artifacts that help tell the story of America’s past. This portion of the tour is self-guided, and while we’re happy to suggest notable exhibits, guests are welcome to explore any institution on the National Mall, time permitting.

We’ll departure DC mid/late afternoon with evening drop-offs at your selected tour location. Brief rest stops will be made on the way.
